Thanks for your help.
These IT moments seem to always turn this usually nice, minimally IT literate lady into Linda Blair. Nothing works as it should. Nothing is straight forward. Point A to Point B turns into 47 different rabbit holes along the way. One of them was spent on the Microsoft boards yesterday. What a treat those folks are. -_- I should have known better.

As things get more and more complicated, it calls for specialists to diagnose more and more things.
There are only 2 reasons for a BSOD - hardware or software.
And, for most of the software errors (about 90%), they are caused by 3rd party (non-Windows) drivers
Hardware accounts for about 10% of the BSOD errors, and Windows accounts for less than 1% of the errors (this presumes that Windows has been fully updated)
Please install the Intel USB 3.0 drivers for your system.
Also, please uninstall the drivers for your Via HiDef audio device, then download and install a fresh set of the latest version.
Only 257 Windows Update hotfixes installed. Most systems with SP1 have 350-400 or more. Please visit Windows Update and get ALL available updates (it may take several trips to get them all).
The actual number is not important. Rather it's important that you checked manually, installed any available updates, and didn't experience any errors when checking or updating.
Many more LiveKernelEvents than BSOD events in the WER section of the MSINFO32 report.
This is often due to hardware problems (to include compatibility and low-level driver issues).
Please start with these free hardware diagnostics: http://www.carrona.org/hwdiag.html
Please run ALL of the tests and let us know the results.
One of the BSOD's blames a USB scanner driver. If you'll note, the oldest drivers in the memory dump (from 2007), appear to belong to an HP printer.
As such, I'd suggest physically removing any USB devices from your system and uninstalling their software while we test.
When we're done, install them back one at a time and test them before moving onto the next item.
If that doesn't stop the errors, please run Driver Verifier according to these instructions: http://www.carrona.org/verifier.html
